Choosing a golf club should not be that hard for you unless you are a professional who knows his stuff in terms of golf. For beginners you must know what is golf club all about. Golf club consists of three parts 1) the shaft, 2) the grip and 3) the club face or head. The shaft is made either by steel or graphite. Steel shaft normally used by most professional as this shaft required a lot of strength to make a hit while the graphic shaft will give an easy hit. The grip of course will be made from rubber as to give perfect grip before make a hitting. The club face where the golf ball to be contacted when tee off. There are 2 types of club face - pro-blade and the ordinary blade. The pro-blade normally is use by professional golfers and this blade can make a deep divot when hitting the golf ball. The ordinary blade normally use by the beginners.
Beside that there are three kinds of golf club which have different purposes. First the wood which is use for long range hits. Originally the wood was made by wood, but as the time goes on with the new technology, the manufacturers now had construct the wood using metal and steel to have clubs that are more durable and stable in performance. Next is an iron. The iron normally used on the fairway and a short range as Par 3. It has various numbers from long to short. Basic iron golf will start form 3 Iron to Sand Iron which the less number of iron the longer the shaft and the club face will be different from one to another. The last one is the Putter which is use on the green to put the golf ball into the hole. Basically this three club of golf club must be use in any golf game.
Base on the explanation above as beginners to choose buying used golf club all above must take into consideration. Tips to consider are as follows:
1. The shaft. Either to go for steel or graphite shaft. It will depend on body size. If you body size quiet big, I would recommend you to choose steel shaft as you have great strength. For a small size body better choose a graphite shaft as the shaft will provide strength for your hit. Close inspection is a must for the shafts as the cracks in the shaft may not be easily detected with the naked eye.
2. The Grip. The grip is on the top of the golf club and that grip can be an important factor for you as a golfer. If the grip is worn and damaged then my suggestion would be to try buying the new one or try some other used golf club. You also can change the grip to a new grip when it worn or damage.
3. Club Face or Head. As beginners better to get the ordinary blade.
If you are buying on-line then get the pictures of the club face , shaft and the grip individually so that you are reasonably sure about the quality of the used golf club you are buying. Also make sure that you have the right to return if you do not find the club satisfactory. It will save you a lot of agony and hassle later.Buying used golf clubs is definitely a money saver but there are some risks attached to it.
